With Myp2p.eu down time to try Live Sports Chrome Plugin
With the myp2p.eu site still down and no sign of a quick resolution there are a lot of people looking for suitable myp2p alternatives. Live Sports is definitely worth a look as it delivers links to live streams directly into the Google Chrome browser.
If you don’t already have Google Chrome installed now is the time to check it out. Chrome is a internet browser that is faster and more secure than Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Once you have Chrome up and running you then need to install the Live Sports plugin. A plugin is an additional piece of software that adds additional functionality to Google Chrome. Run chrome and head over to the Chrome Store.
Click on the link to add Live Sports to Google Chrome and this will install the plugin. Once installed you should see a football at the end of the address bar. Click on this and you will be presented with a drop down box giving you the option of Live Streams or Results. Click on live streams and then choose your football match. You will then be presented with a list of links to live football streams much the same way as the Myp2p site.
There are a wide range of links using flash based based streams and standalone applications like Sopcast and Veetle. As well as offering links to all the latest football matches there is also links to other sports including tennis, basketball, Formula 1 and MotoGP. Once you have located your football match click on the appropriate link and away you go to the live stream.
When first loading the plugin in you will be presented with options for Live Streams or Scores. When a major game is on you will be presented with a yellow box with a link out to a web based streaming site (A not very good one at that!). Do not use this link. Instead select Live Streams and pick from there.
The plugin certainly has a lot of content and links and seems to be regularly updated. With the myp2p.eu and wiziwig.eu sites being down the Live Sports plugin certainly seems like a straightforward viable alternative. One of the major things that this and other live stream sites are missing is the language of the commentary. Myp2p.eu was good as it listed the language in the link. This is one of the major things other sites can learn from Myp2p.
